Ask someone to help you, because some measurements are difficult to take yourself. Best of all, if you ask a professional tailor to take measurements, show him my list of measurements.

Before you start taking measurements, tie a rubber band on the waist line (at the narrowest point). Do not move it in the process of taking measurements.

During the measurements, stand exactly as usual, do not try to expressly bend your back or, conversely, slouch, it will distort the measurements.

HOW TO TAKE MEASUREMENTS1. Neck circumference
2. Shoulder length – measure from the base of the neck to the shoulder bone.
3. Bust circumference – measure over the fullest part of the bust and then straight across the back.
4. Chest circumference – measure around the upper part of the breast passing under the armpits.
5. Under bust circumference
6. Chest width – measure straight the distance between the armpits above the breast (measuring tape should not go inside the armpits!).
7. Breast point – measure the length from the base of the neck (on the shoulder) to the nipple.
8. Front waist length – measure from the base of the neck (on the shoulder) to the waist line passing through the full part of the breast.

14. Bicep circumference – measure around the bicep in the widest point.
15. Wrist circumference – measure around the wrist.
16. Sleeve length – measure from the shoulder bone to the desired length. When measuring the arm should be slightly bent at the elbow, so measure the contour of the bent arm to the desired length.
